The Satara Mega Food Park pvt ltd is an Industrial Park with an exclusive focus on food processing sector. The MFP is strategically located in Western Maharashtra in Satara city; with very easy connectivity to few Largest Cities viz: Pune, Satara, Mumbai, Kolhapur etc. including Mumbai which is the the Financial Capital of India offering a target market of 40-50 million population within a 250-300 km radius.


The MFP envisages a well-defined Agri / horticultural processing zone containing state of the art processing facilities with support infrastructure and well established supply chain.


The MFP is being set up under a special initiative of Government of India’s Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) with a Cluster development Approach. Government of Maharashtra too has recognized the project as an industrial park and is providing various incentives as per PSI 2013 scheme.


The Common Infrastructure includes:

1.      Internal Roads

2.      Electrical Connectivity

3.      Water

4.      Sewage

5.      The Park will be supported by 24 hr Express feeder electricity

6.      Common Technical Infrastructure - Food Processing related Common Technical Infrastructure, such as Cold & Frozen Storages; Warehouses shall also be available for Industries setting up units in the Food Park, to be used on Pay-per-use basis, thus offering a distinctive advantage to MSME units, who can restrict their capital expenditure and utilize their budget on other activities,.


The other big benefit to units coming to the MFP is that of a large saving in time to commence construction with all the approvals for Land in place and complete Plug & Play readiness being available even for industrial plots of various sizes.


We are willing to create some specifically required facility by a substantial client – say Bottling/ PET Line / Steam Generation/ Chilling Centre/ other specialty packaging lines/ PPC (Primary processing and collection centres) – as Common Infrastructure which can also be used on a Pay-per-use/ Leasing of facilities for production basis etc. As such, this could be a WIN-WIN for both parties with the Proposed Industry able to reduce their initial investment by reduction in project cost, as the MFP will install it as part of our cost and offer to client on a “pay to use” basis & the Food park will be able to generate revenues thro’ utilization of the installed Common facilities.



Further, if any substantial unit needs other supporting/ ancillary units for better sustainability, even these units can be accommodated and will surely benefit by locating in the Food Park in view of the State of Art infrastructure being provided as well as possibility to secure greater business in the Cluster. (We may be able to offer an excellent catchment for Milk Collection or anything which is required by the processor and can offer facility in the Food Park; or a facility near the catchment as a Primary Processing Centre catering to the Dairy/ any other business.)

Respected Sir, When will be the leasing of plot start? From where should we apply for the plot? Where are the rates and area of plots given? Documents required? Plz help!
