M. Tech (Four Semester Course): TOTAL SEATS : 60 (SIXTY)

Twelve Seats in each of the following courses:Oil Technology, FoodTechnology.

 

All the admission to these courses will be according to the revisedOrdinance No. 5 of2010 of RashtrasantTukadojiMaharaj Nagpur University,Nagpur. Reservation of seats for various backward/reserved categories will beas per rules of Government of Maharashtra.

 

The M. Tech Course is a stipendiary courses and stipend will be paid as long as financial assistance is received from the University Grants Commission. Stipend shall be paid only to these students who have passed the GATE Examination as directed by the U.G.C.

Eligibility Criteria: For all M. Tech. Programmes the basic qualification shallbe graduation in the respective branch subject to establishment of equivalence of the graduation degree with that of the R.T.M. Nagpur University. Candidates with valid GATE SCORE shall be considered for admission in the FIRST ROUND. In the event of non-availability of GATE qualified candidates in the respective branches the vacant seats will be offered to the non-GATE qualified candidates in the SECOND ROUND, as per merit, based on total marks secured in "WRITTEN TEST" of 70 Marks and a "INTERVIEW" of 30 Marks which will be held on Tuesday 26thJuly 2011 and Wednesday 27th July 2011 respectively.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: All admissions shall be given as per AICTE guidelines. Last date for the submission of duly filled in application forms is Monday 4thJuly

2011. All other relevant information, admission schedule and Merit List will be posted on the website (www.nagpuruniversity.org/litnagpur) and will also be

displayed on the NOTICE BOARD of the Institute on Tuesday 12th July 2011. First round of admissions(For GATE qualified candidates only) will be held on Monday 25th July 2011. Second and last round of admissions (For non-GATE qualified candidates only) will be held on Thursday 28th July 2011. Regular classes for M. Tech courses will commence from Monday 1st August 2011.

 

Important Note :

1. Send /Submit the duly filled in application form for B.Tech courses (Outside Maharashtra State Quota ONLY) and M.Tech. programmes along with a Demand

Draft worth Rs. 400/- only drawn in favour of “Director, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur” payable at NAGPUR.

2. Director, LIT shall not entertain any request for application form after due date and shall not consider completed application forms received after the last date.
